What's a Project Schedule template to accompany collaboration agreement, and when do you need it?

This template, sometimes called a ‘scope of works’, is designed to accompany our template collaboration agreements on Farillio. You may already have included one or more of these schedule templates in Annex 2 of your collaboration agreement (if you used our template agreement).

The template schedule forms part of the collaboration agreement, so it’s important to ensure that you’re including the right detail, and that the detail is consistent with the intentions that you drafted within the collaboration agreement.

We recommend setting out not just the activity/ contribution of each Party in detail, but also any time-frame, charge and allocated party personnel associated with the performance of that item. The clearer you are about what is included and which activities and time-frames or milestones relate to which aspects of that, the less likely you are to run into lengthy disagreements or misunderstandings.

The schedule should be signed by both collaborating parties and kept in the same place as your collaboration agreement – we recommend storing them on Farillio, then you’ll always be able to locate the full set of materials relevant to your collaboration!

This template is appropriate for collaborative activities between businesses operating and based in the UK. If you’re looking for a template capable of covering a wider geographical remit, please get in touch and our legal expert partners will be able to help you.
