What are website terms and conditions for the supply of services to other businesses and when do you need them?
These website terms and conditions are suitable for online sales (e.g. via a website) to other businesses. They’re not suitable for online sales to consumers or to sales to other businesses that take place off-line.
If you want website terms and conditions for the sale to other businesses of goods alone, or if you want website terms and conditions for the sale to of goods and services to businesses, you’ll need our separate templates.
If you’re selling goods, services, digital content or any combination of them, via a website and to consumers, you’ll need our separate consumer templates suite.
And remember, if you sell services from both your website and by any other means (for example, a shop), you’ll need a different set of terms and conditions to cover these two separate activities, as different rules and commercial objectives will apply to the different sales activities you carry out.
In the meantime, take a look at our guide on terms and conditions for selling to businesses: the essentials they should cover for more background.
It discusses what you’d expect to find in most business facing terms and conditions documents and what these terms mean, and which provisions are the most relevant to you, depending on whether you sell, goods, services, digital content or a combination of these.
